3 stabbed in capital overnight, 1 Dead

A boy of only 15 has been knifed to death in Hackney - one of three stabbings in Lawless London overnight.

Police were called to Somerford Grove, in north-east London, on Wednesday evening to reports of a stabbing and officers arrived to find the boy with stab wounds.

Despite paramedics trying to save his life for almost an hour, he died at the scene. Another boy who police believe to be 16 was also found with stab injuries in Shacklewell Road, just yards away from the first teenager.

Scotland Yard immediately issued a stop and search order for the whole of Hackney as a result of the stabbings, but it didn't result in any arrests.

A couple of hours later, a man was left in a life-threatening condition after he was stabbed near a north London Tube station.

The Metropolitan Police said officers were called to Camden Road, near Camden Town Underground Station.

Officers and paramedics attended the scene, which is in an area popular for its nightlife, and found a man with stab injuries. He is fighting for his life in hospital.

On Saturday, Detectives launched a murder investigation after a 29-year-old  was knifed to death in Hackney.

Last year London's murder rate eclipsed that of New York, one of America's most dangerous cities.
