‘Remoaners’ are demanding Brexit be stopped to deal with coronavirus
"London liberal elites" are attempting to stop Brexit from going ahead due to the coronavirus epidemic after author Jemma Forte suggested that the British Government should consider putting a hold on Brexit to deal with the coronavirus outbreak.
While on the Jeremy Vine Show, TalkRADIO host Dan Wootton broke into a furious rant criticising another attempt from "Remoaners" to stop Brexit at any costs.
He said: "This is astonishing, it is literally astonishing.
"In the first segment, we have Jemma saying no I don't want to politicise coronavirus.
"But now we have Jemma saying she wants coronavirus to mean the delay of Brexit.
"Brexit has happened, this is the free trade negotiations which obviously comes into effect at the end of the year.
"No one is saying for a single second that stopping Brexit will help the fight to stop coronavirus in any way.
"What this is, is the Remoaning London liberal elite taking an international health crisis and trying yet again to spark arguments that we have had for the past three years that have been concluded in multiple elections.
"You should move on and I think you are going a little bit mad."
Jeremy Vine stated that the coronavirus issue may, in fact, be a reason to speed up the Brexit process.
Vine said: "The coronavirus may be a good argument for Brexit.
"This is on the basis that you want to be able to control who comes in and out of your country.
"That is a basic principle here."
