The Turkey/Greece border - Out of sight, but not out of mind [Video]


The Corona virus pandemic has knocked the Turkey/Greece border refugee crisis off the headlines, but it's still there. Many of the 'Syrian refugees' are in fact from places as far off as Pakistan, Morocco and Nigeria, but large numbers really are from Syria.

Of those, some are fleeing the country because they are hardcore Islamists who refuse to live peacefully in a tolerant, secular state. But a lot of them are trying to escape the poverty thrust on them when the Erdogan regime in Turkey backed Islamist extremists who looted Syria's industrial heartland in and around Aleppo.
