Ridiculous: WW2 Tanks To Be SCRAPPED From VE Day Celebrations

WW2 tanks are set to be scrapped from VE Day celebrations over fear of terrorism risk. The vintage World War 2 tanks were due to be part of the line-up to help commemorate VE Day, but these plans have now been shelved following 'advice' from the police.

Crowborough council in East Sussex said it would press ahead without the historical army vehicles after advice from Sussex Police.

Peter Cunnington, the council's operations officer, said he was warned that any "military style event" could be targeted by extremists."
