Trump blasts Sadiq Khan over London Crime
President Trump always shots from the hip and unlike we Englishmen and women, who are gagged by the police state and its so-called "hate speech" legislation, President Trump has once again criticised the Muslim mayor of London Mayor Sadiq Khan, calling him a "national disgrace."

1215
King John agreed to put his royal seal on the Magna Carta, or Great Charter of English liberties, at Runnymede, near Windsor. The document was the first to be forced onto an English King by a group of his subjects. It was essentially a peace treaty between John and his barons, guaranteed the nobles their feudal privileges and promised to maintain the nation's laws.

1381Richard II met leaders of Wat Tyler's Peasants' Revolt on Blackheath. The Tower of London was stormed by rebels who entered without resistance. The revolt later came to be seen as a mark of the beginning of the end of serfdom in medieval England. Although the revolt itself was a failure it increased awareness in the upper classes of the need for the reform of feudalism in England and the appalling misery felt by the lower classes as a result of their enforced near-slavery.
